Cheap Thrills a Go-Go! back in action!

hey everyone....
thanks for the patience...i have not been a good blogger and haven't posted for a few months....
but anyways...i'm back...
things have been very busy lately....we're now throwing our parties once a month at Common Ground in Allston, where we've been packing the house every time...
DJ Dinos joined us in May and layed down his wildest mod, garage, and freakbeat records...
PJ Gray (Soul-le-lu-jah regular and creator of galacticfractures.com) joined us in June and spun his dopest soul, r&b, boogaloo and funk records. Last Month DJ Save1 (Go Go Power, Providence) brought some mindblowing psych, soul, and funk records...
In May and June the Thru The Keyhole Go-Go Girls shaked their tailfeathers like there was no tomorrow. Last month Babes in Boinkland danced for us and did an equally righteous job...
check out a few pics from the last few months...

last week i took a quick vacation to the pacific northwest...
on Friday I spun some records with Chazz and Mattie (Ghost Town Soul Club) at Beaulahland in portland...an enthusiastic crowd came out and we had them in a frenzy the whole night....
on Sunday, while in Olympia visiting my recently married friend Rodrigo (who'll be shooting super 8 footage of our gig on the 18th!) I spun some records with Wild Man James at "When the Night Falls" at the Brotherhood Lounge....
below (scroll down to the next post) I posted mp3s of a couple excellent records i picked up at Mississipi Records in Portland...

and for those in the boston area, make sure to check out our show this upcoming show on the 18th at Common Ground in Allston....I'll be taking on The Thing With Two Heads (NYC's most infamous DJ's, Bazooka Joe and Xtine 16) in a Big Boss Throwdown of epic proportions. Babes in Boinkland will be Go-Go Dancing and as always, the dancefloor will be in a state of anarchy...

also, keep an eye out...I'll be starting a new night at ZuZu in Cambridge every Thursday starting next month, called Mambo Beat Club....more info soon!
ok that's all for now, folks....hope to see you all next saturday!
